€0,00
TYPO – I Shall Not Be Moved is a traditional American folk song whose lyrics stretch back to the slave era. The song was adapted by civil rights activists of the 1930s, who changed the lyrics to “We Shall Not Be Moved”. The lyrics represented the determination of those in the Civil Rights movement in the face of government and social oppression, “like a tree that stands by the water, we shall not be moved.” It sings of the refusal to bow to the powers that be, and the importance of standing up for what you believe in. We Shall Not Be Moved was adopted by English football supporters during the Sixties and nowadays can be heard in stadiums all over the world.
